Such an enjoyable place to stay! We had so much fun, and all the staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful. So close to the lift, onsen and bakery haha We can’t wait to come back!
Hi Daniel, Thank you for staying with us, we hope to host you again in the future.
Kain and Liz are the perfect hosts and our group of 6 adults and 6 kids aged 8-13 had an amazing stay at Nozawa Peaks. I really could not fault the location, the hospitality and helpfulness of them both to ensure our stay was perfect. Rooms are traditional and really nice and clean, shared facilities such as kitchen and common rooms were clean and comfortable, it really is the perfect choice for proximity to the slopes, onsens, restaurants and of course the Swiss Bakery. Thanks Kain and Liz for contributing to our amazing holiday by providing such great service.
Cannot recommend Nozawa Peaks highly enough! Kain and Liz are the ultimate hosts- providing a multitude of local knowledge and so many little extra homely touches (like a Nespresso machine! ☕️ )The accommodation itself is spotlessly clean, light, bright and comfortable. Cannot wait to return- thank you Nozawa Peaks!
Traveling with three kids in tow was made super easy in this lovely lodge. Everything we could need was provided for; comfortable futon beds in clean rooms, hot showers after a day of skiiing, a communal kitchen where we could have our meals (whenever we didn't go out for dinner). Plus a ski rental place across the road, onsens nearby, a bakery a stone's throw away, and the ski lift just up the road. Liz and Kain are such welcoming hosts, answered every question, and even helped us with catching the shuttle back to the bullet train for our departure. Couldn't have made a better choice for our ski holidays this year, if we get a chance we will definitely be back in future!
Just returned from a great 10 day stay at Nozawa Peaks. Location is handy to everything... onsens, supermarket, chairlift, bus service, restaurants, ski hire. Accomodation is comfortable, spacious, warm, clean and with a great kitchen if you want to use for any meal and storage space available for your own food. Loved the experience of sleeping on futon mattress on tatami matting. Kain and Liz are fabulous hosts with excellent knowledge of the village and skiing. We would recommend highly.
We spent a wonderful 8 nights staying at Nozawa Peaks in January. Kain and Liz are amazing hosts and were extremely helpful leading up to our stay, during and after. The lodge is very clean, welcoming and comfortable. The communal kitchen was perfect for our kids after a long day skiing and made breakfasts easy. The lounge area is a fun space to spend time away from your room with board games, cushions and large TV. We stayed in the large family 5 pax room and were very comfortable. There is a chairlift nearby and a convenient shuttle to the gondala. There is a convenient storage area and dry room for ski gear. We really enjoyed the wonderful restaurant next door and ate there 3 nights. For self catering the supermarket in town is well stocked and we found everything we needed including cornflakes, oats, eggs, bacon, fruit and vegies. There is also an onsen close by. Can't recommended Nozawa Peaks highly enough.
Nozawa peaks is a great place to stay. Clean, comfortable and close to lifts and town center. Has all the amenities you will need. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Cheers guys. Robert pine.
Located 10 ms walk from the center of Nozawa Onsen, this chalet is ideal for a stay with your family and/or friends. Nozawa Peaks is a traditional Japanese style accommodation with modern showers and kitchen. Rooms are comfortable. Communal facilities are immaculate and there is a sitting room that feels very cozy. We were staying with another family and 7 kids/adolescents and it felt like being at home. The chalet is not far from the ski lift and ticket office. There is a great Onsen a minute walk from the chalet. The staff was warm and helpful. My daughter had a ski accident and staff did everything they could to help us. We could not have expected better service.
Located in Nakao which is a short 7 minute walk to the nice cafes, bars and restaurants. Rooms are tidy, spacious and all you need. The drying room is great if you plan on doing some skiing or snowboarding. The communal facilities are all kept immaculate and the lounge area is a nice touch of traditional Japanese dining. Overall amazing value for money and great location right below the ski lift. Nakao Onsen (bath house) is a 1 minute walk and a must do if you’re staying here - Casey (Airbnb review)
