Latest update: 11 November 2025. The top section of the Nozawa Onsen ski resort has already received snowfall 3 times as of November 11, 2025. It looks like there will be snow down to the village level next week. Click here to see Nozawa Onsen Live cameras. The Nozawa Onsen Ski resort opening date is November 29, 2025 (snow dependant). Usually just the top section of the ski ares opens around this time as there is limited staff working at this time. The Nozawa Onsen snow resort area aim to open on the entire ski resort on December 20. This is when all the mountain staff begin working, which allows the ski resorts to open as much as possible (all snow dependant).
